The Oore Ofe Scholarship
Sometimes people do not just need a handout. They need a hand to hold. At Oore Ofe, we believe funding alone is not enough. Many brilliant young women fall through the cracks not because they lack potential, but because they lack guidance, exposure, support, or someone consistently in their corner.
The Oore Ofe Scholarship will sponsor young women through their undergraduate journeys, covering tuition, accommodation, and, where possible, living expenses. But beyond financial support, they will be surrounded by intentional mentorship and community.
Each scholar will be connected to a circle of women committed to helping her thrive academically, professionally, emotionally, and spiritually. Through wisdom, support, prayer, and practical guidance, we hope to help her build confidence, resilience, professionalism, and the courage to dream beyond her circumstances.
Our goal is simple: that every scholar feels seen, known, supported, and prepared for the opportunities ahead. And one day, we hope she too becomes part of the chain that reaches back and lifts another girl forward.
Who Can Apply?
We are looking for visionary young women who demonstrate both financial need and academic brilliance.
- Identity
- Female Nigerian citizens residing in Nigeria.
- Age Bracket
- Between 16 and 30 years at the time of application.
- Academic Status
- Full-time undergraduate students (200L or above).
- Universities we currently support
- University of Lagos (UNILAG), University of Ibadan (UI), Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).
